Hunter Support Services Inc. offers round-the-clock care services to seniors or anyone who needs help with daily activities in order to assist in enhancing their quality of life. Our services include:
Companionship
Keeping a loved one from feeling isolated is important to their mental and physical health. Companion care can help provide additional companionship and emotional support. Our compassionate and attentive companions can provide social interaction, engage in conversation, and help dispel feelings of loneliness.
Medicine Administration
To administer medications, the Hunter Support Services Inc. team has their pharmacology certificate/ medication administration certificate that covers the principles of medication administration, safe practices, and relevant legislation. This ensures our staff have the necessary knowledge and skills to assist clients safely with medication.
Bathing, Dressing, Grooming & Hygiene Care
Maintaining good grooming and hygiene is crucial for the physical and emotional well-being of seniors/individuals, helping prevent infections, boost self-esteem, and promote a sense of dignity and independence. At Hunter Support Services Inc. we can assist our clients with a variety of tasks such as nail trimming to hair cuts, from bathing and toileting and even catheter and cholecystectomy bags, and feeding tubes.
Accompaniment to
Appointments
Hunter Support Services provides escorted transportation services for individuals to and from appointments, errands, shopping trips, and other social outings. We also provides medical accompaniment services, including hospital transportation and doctor's appointments, to help clients arrive at appointments with support.
Laundry & Light Housekeeping
Light housekeeping and laundry assistance helps your loved one maintain their independence and stay in their homes longer. Light house cleaning services may include dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, cleaning of the bathroom and kitchen and linen changes.
Meal Preparations
We offer nutritious, home-made meal preparations as part of our services. Whether you want to utilize meal preparations as part of our respite care services on-site or whether you need meals prepared at your loved ones home, we will prepare meals based on an individuals specific dietary needs, requirements and tastes.
