Bev brings 35 years of hands-on experience in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, and those with dual diagnoses. She is dedicated to staying up-to-date in her field, working alongside her staff to provide professional services that prioritize respect and dignity for both clients and their families. In 2014, Bev's life was forever changed by the untimely passing of her son. In the midst of this profound loss, she immersed herself in her work as a way to heal. It was during this time that she found peace and a new perspective, working closely with a senior woman and her family to navigate the challenges of Alzheimer's. This inspiring woman became Bev's muse and played a significant role in motivating her to start her own business. With a deep understanding and extensive expertise in autism spectrum disorders, developmental services, Alzheimer's, and dementia, Bev is well-equipped to offer the support and care that individuals and families need. Her background has also enabled Hunter Support Services to provide short-term and long-term respite care—a support system that offers primary caregivers a much-needed break while ensuring their loved ones continue to receive high-quality care.
